I also found Pain's story very interesting, but I was blown away by the annoying and boring filler that followed after :( .
I can understand why they have to put those in, but I honestly dislike them very much.
On another note, I've finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and am happy to say, I've enjoyed every moment of it.
The ending was phenomenal, although I felt a bit sad that Greed died.
Although he was one of the antagonists at the beginning, I've grown to love him and his interesting personality.
I'm hoping to see the Fullmetal Alchemist movie sometime soon, but I don't really know where to find it.
Does anyone know if I'll be able to find it at my local movie store?

I'd be surprised if you couldn't already find the first Fullmetal Alchemist movie that came after the original anime series at your video store but the movie that's comming after FMAB is still going to be a while off, we haven't even heard news yet about when its going to be released in Japan so it'll be at least a year before you can see it with Subs and possibly longer for a Dub.

Sapphire Mom, Mod Liv just remade this thread after the last one got maxed she hasn't actually posted anything that wasn't copied off the last about Anime. :(

Well, the TV company isnt gonna keep the same show on forever. If you want to see it, go buy it...
Subject of Elfen Lied, i just started watching that today and am about halfway through it (i just finished the episode wheret he guy finds out he has to have his nuts removed).
Personally, i dont understand where this show gets all its acclaim from. Sure, its interesting and all that, but i cant find anything partiularly groundbreaking so far. Nowhere near the all round A-'s that it got from ANN.
Also, i personally think it woul have been better if they didnt actually show the vectors and just explained them as a psychic force of sorts, it dosent really make sense that arms could lop someones limbs of with razorblade stright cuts.

I agree. I bought the DVD's, I just hope for a second season -unlikely- or another OVA.

I suggest you watch it until the end and if you still don't find it "groundbreaking" after that...well...then I guess its just a matter of interest and tastes. I liked Elfen Lied because of the storyline and because it touched on more deeper subjects than most animes I've seen. Oh and about the vectors, they're a telekinetic force really not made out of anything in this world. The closest thing I can think of is energy. But in the anime, they describe them as vibrating at such high frequencys that they can cut through objects.

Lol I only watched a couple of episodes when its on adult swim and I liked it. The main guy character, Yoshimori? i think.., is cool but the girl annoys me >.>

yeah, i guess she can be some-what annoying but she brings up allot of humorous accastions into the story.

Lol I haven't watched enough of the show to know who is who.I think madarlo is the fox thing that follows Yoshimori, if I'am right than that thing is badass.
