was an ok first arc...still not getting how 35% of people watching this think its a 10 fanboys....gonna read another few chapters of the novel tonight i think maybe get midway through volume 3
quick question how the hell did they go 2 years in a game without ever once asking what their real name was ffs!

I might get some hate for saying this but... I didn't really like Little Busters first episode that much. I had high expectations just to be disappointed. I've never read the VN so I have no idea what happens later on but this episode didn't really pique my interest.
One thing I hate is when they make little girls obnoxiously strong, it's just ridiculous. Speaking of little girls, why does Riki sound like and is as short as one? Isn't he supposed to be like 17? Yeah so... I'm not too fond of him and I don't particularly find the other main four likeable either.

considering busters is from the same guy who wrote clannad and kanon pretty sure the plot will involve character meets girl some mystical crap happens things look bad for character more mystical crap happens they live happily ever after the end-my prediction as someone who is new 2 this series
and yes riki sounds like a girl

That would be because he's voices by a girl. I was a little apprehensive about the idea of Horie Yui as his voice actor, but I think she's done the role justice quite well so far.
It might seem a little jarring now, the VN is almost fully from Riki's perspective and he hasn't got much vice acting so I never really noticed it much, but its also very important in a way. Riki being the weakest and least manly of the group is necessary for various reasons.
I can see why some people wouldn't be sold on the first episode alone. Its basically verbatim to the game, but some of the, energy I guess, hasnt really communicated over as effectively. But this is just the beginning, getting the character introductions and the establishment of the driving force behind the common rote. The common is great fun once it gets established, but the real bread and butter of this series is the character arcs and the core mystery which should start coming into play very soon (technically it already has, but the significance of it wont be apparent till later, and no, I'm not talking about the first few seconds).
So, uhhh, stick with it lol.

I'll definitely be sticking with it to see how it plays out. I still have high expectations for the rest of the series. It's just I can already tell Riki will get on my nerves...
Just like how K is. I hate that main character there too. He might change soon though according to the end of the first episode.

^ Yeah... But that girl is going to make him less and less badass as the series goes on.
Sukitte Ii na yo. had a fantastic first episode. I honestly believe this could be one of the best romances I have ever seen, but it's too early to tell since it's only the first episode. The manga is supposedly great, so I have high expectations for the rest of this series.
