Wow, I'm dumb. I should've known about an Anime thread lol.
Well for me:
Favorite Anime: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
Favorite Manga: Love Hina
Honestly, I'm not completely against dubs, but it seems like most of them are horrific =/. No offense to any dub-lovers, but that's my opinion on it. Most of it becomes Americanized too which leaves out the Japanese culture is should retain...

Oh wow didn't see the dub vs sub thing here, I wanna join in:

To be brutally honest, most American voice actors don't care about Japanese culture so if they work on anime dubbing, they don't have any feel for how they should be "acting".
Also, most of these voice actors don't feel the need to try since there isn't a huge supply of voice actors out there and they know they can keep their job in any case.
Most publishing companies don't care about what they produce either. they just think about quantity rather than quality.
Ultimately Main Three Problems:
-Bad Voice-acting
-Americanization
-Bad Translation
They've gotten better with Translating, and a tad bit better in Americanization, but the Voice-Acting seems to not have improved.
I do have to say there are a few gems that have good Dub (ex. Soul Eater, Code Geass), and that's what I hope would happen to all series, but it isn't the case sadly.

Hm, as for me, some of my favorite anime include:
-Bleach (Up to date)
-Naruto (I haven't been up to date with Shippuden for the past year or 2. D: )
-Code Geass
-Special A
-Kaichou wa Maid Sama
-Kaze no Stigma
-Mushi shi (Plot was really interesting~)
-Several others that I can't remember at the moment
Anime that I am currently watching:
-Black Butler
-Mawaru Penguindrum
-Ao no Exorcist
-Guilty Crown
Well, on the topic of dubs... No one dubs worse than 4Kidz. ;o I personally don't mind dubs, but I pretty much watch all of my anime with English subs.
I usually watch anime alone, but I sometimes watch with my mom. For some odd reason, she's watched more anime than I have, lol.

Omg, Zoon! What's up? (you might not remember this acc but I was in your clan under the name of TenshiSenrei)
In any case, I've begun watching Fate/Stay Night. It's pretty good. I'll admit it took me a few episodes to start getting into it (and the fact that I couldn't find it subbed doesn't help much), but I'm really enjoying it. However, I don't really like the dubbed voices (only to be expected of dub). So far the only dubbed voices that I think are pretty good are the voices of Rin and Saber. (Sakura's voice makes me feel like my ears are being stabbed by rusty knives...)

Only dubs I really thought that stood out were Baccano!'s really. Black Lagoon was decent, definitely good by typical dubbing standards.
But oh boy, Ghost Stories dubbed in English is amazing. Not because of the actual talent of the voice actors, but because it's hilarious.

I've been watching The Ouran High School Host Club for a while. I've seen the whole series a couple times and I think it's hilarious xD. My all time favorite is Fullmetal Alchemist, though. I only really like to watch it dubbed because I find it annoying trying to read everything they say and still pay attention to the action.

It's like Zoon broke into my mind, stole my thoughts about dubs, and wrote them in his post...I agree word for word. Also, amazing choice for favourite anime...Madoka <3
