Why does it matter if they sold out to Disney? I don't think tv broadcast has much to do with the actual production, it's still edited/dubbed by the same people; and I don't think Disney would cut more for the airing than it would on any other channel (...At least I don't think they would, it's not like they are trying to change/broaden the target demographic, but I haven't watched Naruto in a few years, so what do I know?)
Wooot, November 23. The third Higurashi Kira chapter is released today.
Also, I just finished marathoning the Chobits manga, since I bought the whole thing when I was in the city on Monday. I saw the anime years ago, but its only now that I realise just how relevant the underlying social commentary in Chobits is to our modern, technologically dependent society.
I still love Dragon Ball Z. Sure, the origianl Dragon Ball was nice, but they all pale in comparison to Dragon ball Z (Especially GT). It basically set the standard for any and all animes to follow it! Naruto and One Piece are nice, but I would almost call them rip-offs (Not to insult any fans). It's the best, and as far as I'm concerned, it always will be.
