I used to be a fan of anime when I was younger and I'd like to check out some of the newer stuff. If any of you could give suggestions I'd appreciate it. I'm mostly interested in ninja / samurai, anything set in the feudal period. Also it doesn't matter to me if it's in English or Japanese, I speak enough to get by.

an awesome political espionage series was definatly GHOST in the shell.
newer awesome mature series include hellsing ULTIMATE, and HOTD ( Highschool of the dead)
best romantic series out is a new one based on a ps2 dating sim Amagami SS

Ecchi wise still waiting for the fairly modest series Sekerei to start its second season.
also take a break from the mainstream shonen series with Histories strongest deciple kenichi.

omg jagex likes anime?! O_o lol i <3 anime it's one of the the best things ever invented^^ my favorites are naruto, bleach, one piece, yugioh, death note, vampire knight, lovely complex, high school debut, clannad, tegamibachi**** yu hakusho, fruits basket, inuyasha, dragonball z, and many more!!!! :) i write fanfiction, draw fanart and i make anime music videos =D ·
