Well, I just started watching angel beats, and I think I'm really gonna like it. It's fast paced, action packed, and pretty damn funny; all of these are things I enjoy in an anime. So yeah, I just might have found a new anime for my top 5 (funny, my top five always seem to be changing...)
Here is an update on my top 5. These are all animes i would rate 10 out of 10. Also, please note that these animes aren't listed in any paticular order (such as best to worst, ect.)
1. One Piece !
2. Freezing
3. Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi
4. Flames of Recca !
5. Naruhina Chronicles ¤
¤: This is a fanmade comic based off of the show Naruto.
!: These are my most favorite out of the top 5.

So its black humor thats never really capitalized on rolled together with fanfic material and every shonen trope out there? That works, but its not very original and seems to compensate by jumping around alot and trying to give characters a deep emotional set, but its done to fast to allow any of that to sink in. Quite simply, im finding fault with the telling rather than the story.
But at any rate, I can see from your list of titles you would rate a 10/10 that our tastes in anime are quite different.
@raikenzera
Please tell me your watching the sub? I got the DVD's yesterday (and am now watching the show for an 11th time
) and been flicking back and forth between the two language tracks and the dub is TERRIBLE. Not just the usual 'bland voice acting' complaint either, they totally changed Otonashi's personality and I think thats going to ruin alot of his character motivation later on.
Of course, the official sub track isnt a whole lot better. I got up to about halfway through episode 4 and i was like 'dont ruin the Yui-nyan bit, dont ruin the Yui-nyan bit', know what they did? They ruined the Yui-nyan bit with a crappy westernization. I keep saying it, official sub tracks need to stop westernizing Japanese language jokes becasue all that achieves is to make them unfunny.
I mean seriously, if people are going to choose sub over dub consistently, they are going to end up with at least some knowledge of how Japanese works, and that joke is Japanese 101.

Jesse, i notice you look into things very specifically. To be honest, i'm more of a person that just watches a show and either enjoys or dislikes for whatever it is. I don't want to get too technical into shows.
¤Mayo Chiki! Review¤
This was somewhat entertaining. It was quite funny. The bad thing was that the romantic plot wasn't that great. There were too many pairings appearing and it was confusing for awhile. I'm glad they finally made the relationship between the 2 main characters clear at the end, but i think they took too long to do it, and the way it lead to them kissing finally was bad in my opinion. Other than than, the comedy did make it worth seeing somewhat.
My Rating: 6/10
@Jesse-Yeah, I'm watching the sub, since dub voices are never very good. I can also see why someone would watch this 11 times, this is something I could watch in a single day (if I had the time) and I can't say that for a lot of anime.
P.S. Just watch 4th episode, the Yui-nyan bit is sooooo funny! Why must the westernize it though?!

@Runman292: Lol, the only reason im looking at it so deep is because you got me thinking about it. Normally while im watching something I prefer to go for the 'acknowledge and ignore' approach to faults, becasue i dont want to turn into one of those people on the ANN forums who spout lines like 'the overused tropes and shallow emotional manipulation of the viewers ruined this show for me'...

Also why I try to avoid reading the manga until after ive finished the anime. Though fortunately with AB! that isnt an issue since the manga is a prequel and came after the anime anyways.
But im glad your enjoying my favorite anime. If you've got any questions after you finish it I'll answer them, since ive found that quite a few people i know have found the ending a touch confusing or not fully understood it.

¤One Piece 10th Movie: Strong World Review¤
This, in my opinion, was the best One Piece movie made so far. The straw hat pirates actually had a challenge for once in a movie. I really liked the special effects on Luffy's gear 2nd mode. His final attack was very epic. No criticisms on this movie.
My rating: 10/10
