I finished NieA_7, Ah! My Goddess season 2 + a bunch of OVAs and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 last week.
Anyone seen the last Steins;Gate? This is definately one of the best shows I've seen so far this year.
I just started reading/playing the Chaos;Head visual novel, I hope the story is as good as Steins;Gate. ^_^
As for manga, I started reading Mirai Nikki (Future Diary), which is an exciting action manga. The anime will air in Fall. :)
----------------------------------------------
How was Tokyo Magnitude 8.0? I have all the episodes but I haven't got around to watching them yet xD
OMG, the last Steins;Gate episode was the best one yet IMO. Finally some action between those two :P Next episode looks interesting! Ohh, is there an english translation of the Chaos;Head VN?
And I heard some people are currently working on an english translation of the Steins;Gate VN ^_^
Just saw the latest Usagi Drop episode. So cuteeeee and heart warming as usual >_<
Clue Drops -> 3a Range Top (h357), 3a Full Helm (h439), 3a Druidic Staff (e969), Barrows Dye (h1755, h2546, e680, e1567, e2038, e2160, m480, m783, m862), Shadow Dye (e510, e1970, e1985, h2948), Ice Dye (e1539, e2804), 3a Dye (e3129)

I dont really like inuyasha... It was okay i guess, it just didnt really stand out to me. Toward the end i was watching purely to see how it ended, but then I messed up and missed two episodes, which just happened to be the last two >.<

@Ethereal199:
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 was excellent, it definately reminded me of the horrible events after the tsunami hit Japan on March 11th, even though the anime was made two years ago. It's a very emotional story about a girl and her little brother trying to get home after a very strong earthquake hits Tokyo.
About the C;H translation, yes there are a few English translations. I remember Jesse talking about C;H a few months ago. (EDIT: on page 188)
My readme header says (probably partially censored by the forum):
Chaos;Head Translation - /jp/ ****** Beta Edition
TLWiki Translation Project
Special AntiFail version by VDZ
There are a few bugs, but nothing major so far (I'm at chapter 3/10).
I'll definately read the S;G VN if they release a translation!
...And yes, Usagi Drop was very cute. :3

If your on a laptop, make sure it dosent run out of batteries while your playing it. They may have fixed it since I played it, but i encountered this weird glitch were if you turn your computer off with the game still running, it makes the save file unaccessable and makes the save slot useless.
Subject of save slots, why do you reckon that VN's have so many of them (100+)? Half the time, even if you saved at every decision point, you couldn't fill them all...

^This coming from a guy who names is derived from a series of books about a guy who's bum runs away from him and tries to conquest the world, which subsequent gets attacked by the bums of people from Uranus?

Just finished the Haruka route in Little Busters (if you like Key, play this). While I didn't find it as sad as the other routes that ive already finished, it was defiantly the most that ive ever been able to relate to a Key story (I also managed to win the baseball game for the first time :) ).
One thing I did notice with it though, when I came off the common route and entered the character route, is a fairly obvious disconnection in relation to the translation style, which I would assume is caused by the 3 year gap between the translation of the common route (which is more literal) and the patch 5.1 released character routes (which are more conversational).
Which got me thinking about the two differing styles of subtitling that is prevalent in anime subbing, which could be best summarized as 'this is what i said' and 'this is what i meant'.
I wont pretend to be a Japanese expert, but I can usually tell when a sub is what the character actually said, or when its been substituted for something that would sound normal if they were using English.
I tend to see official DVD's doing this more often than I do fansubs, which is kind of sad really. You would think that the companies would figure out that if i was particularly concerned about natural sounding english, ide just watch the dub. What about you guys, which style do you prefer?

Woooooowww! Just watched episode 9 of Itsuka Tenma no Kuro-Usagi and yet again there is a very shocking ending. If you haven't started watching this show, Luffy strongly recommends doing so. It's an anime that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Sjwn, I highly recommend you start watching this anime.
