@RSG Kaname: The last emotional anime I've seen was AnoHana (full name: Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai).
Here's a short synopsis from MAL:
A group of childhood friends drifts apart after one of them, Meiko "Menma" Honma, dies in an accident. Years later, the leader of the group, Jinta Yadomi, has become withdrawn and lives as a recluse. An older Meiko appears to him, and says that she must have a wish granted, though she does not know what it is.

Is it a bit like the Angel Beats plot,
where the person needs to gain inner rest to
advance to the next life?
I know Angel Beats is a lot different then i just described, but i think you understand me ^_^

As for other reccomendations, are you looking specifically for Key-esque depression or are other emotions (such as suspense and foreboding creepiness) fair game as well? Cause the only other thing I can think of which suits the depression criteria is Air, which ide guess you've already seen if you like Key.

I got really sucked into the Anime made by Key, but i'm not only interested in sad-depressing Anime.
Just looking for an Anime that sucks me into the story, an anime that activates my emotions and twists them :3
Edit: I did see Air already yah ^_^

Then might I recommend both Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. Both of these have very intense and absorbing plots and can stir the emotions pretty well at times.
I expect you'll like Higurashi quite a bit since the guy who wrote it was heavily inspired by Key, although in this case the plot is a horror/mystery rather than drama/tragedy. I will warn you ahead of time though, its pretty gory.

@Dynamic: Nope, ive not heard of any BD releases for Death Note being in the works.
