Elfen Lied left me a little depressed after the first time I watched it. But other than that, no, nothing. Not even Clannad After Story affected me. I guess I really am an emotionless husk.

Now, now, we don't have to lie to each other, even the great Jesse B77 admitted to showing his manliness through feeling sad. Real men cry! :D

Finally finished Freezing, and if I had not read the manga I would've just started bawling when Ganessa took that blast for Stella, though tbh I did shed a few tears when the sad music started playing. I loved the show, there were a few ecchi scenes I thought were unneeded and the version I watched censored the gore (which I'm really poed about >.< ) but the really sad part was when it ended and I realized that, like most of my favorite anime, it only had 12 fricken episodes!!! Why the hell do all my favorite anime end at 12 episodes?! To name a few, Aria the Scarlet Ammo (a.k.a. Hidan no Aria) Infinite Stratos (which I just started watching) and now Freezing. POR QUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????

Elfen Lied really had a great storyline. Anyone seen Dragonaut: The Resonance, Spice and Wolf, Girls Bravo, Kiss X Sis, Agent Aika, or Arisa?

So I started reading Hunter X Hunter as it seems to be pretty popular and I read the first 50 chapters so far and I just kinda want to ask when will they ACTUALLY go on their first hunt?...
So far, all the first 50 chapters have been about is training and testing. The hunter exam itself was decently interesting because of all the challenges the characters went through but now I started the Celestial Tower Arc and it appears that it just seems to be about mindless fighting which discourages me. I'm still kinda amazed that they haven't gone on a single hunt yet >.> I want to determine if I'll drop or continue the manga based on the first hunt. I like the characters its just taking quite a bit of time getting there...
