Elfen Lied (The most gory and IMO the best anime out there, not because of all the violence, for its epic storyline.)

Well, summer season is starting and I'm using some of my extra time to catch up on my backlog. Just one question though, is Fractale worth finishing? I was around episode 7-8 when I stopped watching Fractale and I can't find myself to go finish it.

What's up anime fans? I'd like to share with you guys an action anime that is so good you will wish they extended the series. It is called Utawarerumono. Unlike the popular shonen animes such as Naruto and One Piece where the main guy character is not very bright or intelligent, the main guy character in Utawarerumono is the dictionary definition of the perfect leader. He is strategic and very intelligent. For the most part, he doesn't rush into battles without being fully prepared or aware of the enemy's strength.
Before i started watching this, I didn't really expect it to be anything but average. After finishing it, I was wrong on all accounts. I was shocked at how great this anime was. I kinda wish that they would have made way more than 26 episodes, but nevertheless, this is an anime i can watch over and over again. I highly recommend this anime to anyone who is a fan of action/warfare type anime.

NARUTO - Every week I'm catching up with new manga that are comikng out

My other favourite animes that i recommend
Ouran High Host Club
Basically about a girl who enters a new high school and breaks the Host Clubs Million dollar vase and has to pay it off by being their servant. But because she looked like a boy at the time with her short hair and guy like clothes, only the host club know shes actually a girl. So throughout her high school life she has to continue to pretend being a guy fighting off girls that obssessed with her and also guys that feel attracted to her (even tho they see her as a guy).
The meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
A crazy school girl who established a club called the 'S.O.S brigade' for people who are weird and interested in the paranormal activity and extrateresstrial activities. A wacky and lovable anime with weird club members.
Please Twins
An anime about a guy named Kyo in search for his long lost twin, with only a photograph to find her. Though in the photograph it doesn't reveal his twin sisters hair color. He comes across 2 girls who believe that 1 of them is his twin sibling. Throughout the anime there is a repetitive saying between the 2 girls, "I love kyo, but he might be my twin brother, then again he might be just my friend". An ****** like anime, with the 2 girls falling in love with Kyo but can't knowing that 1 of them could be his twin sibling.
Negima
An 11 year old boy whose a teacher at an all girls school. All the girls find him adorable and cute but really he is a growing master magician who comes across events that leave him having to protect his students.
School Rumble
Finally, school rumble is an enjoyable anime of a romantic high school based love triangle between Tenma who is in love with a guy named Karasuma, unknown to her a delinquent named Harima is in love with her. A comedy love story with characters that will keep you watching each and every episode.

Watched the first two episodes of Saikano last night. My initial reaction was "I'm going blind...", but I can't really complain about the art style, it was aired in 2002 after all. I also don't like how that almost all the time, every character has a mild red blush on their face; seems kind of pointless. But other than that, there are some funny parts and it seems good so far. Love seeing a person get killed by falling rubble in the first episode. ^_^

^Lol, I initially had the same reaction. You'll stop noticing it after a while though.

In other news, still looking for something more then 'meh' in this seasons batch of anime. Been rather lazy so far and haven't seen as many of them as i usually would have though. Anything standing out as being particularly good yet?

^ Nura rise of the Yokai season 2 has started up and it seems to have a promising story line,
and most def check out Deadman Wonderland it is been fantastic from what i have seen so far im slacking on the last 3 episodes tho
Also i forgot but if you enjoy shonen anime, check out toriko is pretty good
