Lol Hawk. Don't compare Twilight to FMA.
I am looking through some older anime and I came across a little mecha show... don't know if anyone has ever heard of it before... maybe it'll ring a bell... Neon Genesis Evangelion?

Well I must be the last anime fan on earth who watches this for the first time, but I understand now why it's so popular. Definately going to watch the rest of the show and the movies.
Other than that I REALLY enjoyed the first episode of "C - The Money of Soul and Possibility Control".

Make sure you watch the Rebuild of Eva movies (1.11 and 2.22) as well when your done with the TV series. 1.11 is pretty much the same as the first few episodes of the TV series with redone animation, but 2.22 goes off on a completely different (and rather bloody) tangent.
I was at the Aussie premiere of 2.22. You haven't experienced that movie until you've watched it in an auditorium with about a thousand other people
In any case, regardless of whether your watching the rebuild or the original TV series, the story is just as much of a mindscrew either way.
@Agnosia: But the whole 'Rie Kugimiya = tsundere loli' thing is half the joke. The fact that its almost guaranteed is funny unto itself.
I thought that the first episode was pretty good, and more or less what i was expecting. Yes, it was a little typical for a show like this and yes, there were times when i wasn't the biggest fan of the artwork, but its still wasn't bad enough for me to not like it.
Still haven't got around to much else, ive been pretty lax with my anime viewing lately.

Just finished the first episode of Denpa Onna To Seishun Otoko, which is being subbed by my favorite sub group (Mazui). All i can say is that my daily weirdness quota has been filled.
One gripe though, im really not big on the character designs when they do closeup's, the eyes are a weird shape and they show to much forehead. Other than that, no particular criticisms.
