Rosario+Vampire (anime TV series) did not get canceled, it finished airing. It was a romantic comedy adaption of the manga so there weren't any great fights, but it focused on making it comedic.

Onto Spring 2011, started watching Steins;Gate, and finished Episode 1 of Hanasaku Iroha.
Hanasaku Iroha had a pretty good start, and was dramatic. Liking the characters except for the Granny. It irks me the way she treats her employees, a bit extreme I must say.

my winter anime:
Gosick- dropped due to lack of interest
Beelzebub- hilarious though pales in comparison to the manga
Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka- absolutely crazy and awesome
Freezing- I liked it even though a lot of people gave it bad
reviews. Full of action and violent fan service lol
Fractale- struggled to finish it, only a few scenes interested me

Question regarding the reality of Fullmetal Alchemist.
I think I couldn't phrase that any worse, but, you know the symbol of Fullmetal Alchemist involving a cross and a serpant, known as the Flamel Cross, what does it actually represent in reality?
I just want to know some of the history behind it because, as known by some people and others because of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Nicholas Flamel was the one who made a philosopher's stone, but, I want to know what truth there is behind the legend, because, obviously the guy died. :|
