I also like to watch anime with subs once and a while, but it's just so distracting for me to have to read subtitles =/
So I'm kind of on the fence about subs vs dubs. Really just depends on what anime. Sometimes the dubs are decent, and then I'll watch it, but other times (like with 4kids -.-' ) they censer out A LOT of things. Which tends to get annoying.
Honestly though, I do prefer the dubs, as long as they're not so GOD AWFUL that i can't even listen to it. Although I usually re-watch it with the subs sometime later.
P.S. Ah My Godess is ftw =P (good dub too, imo)

I would look up Angel beats as long it is not uggh region block if it is owned by funimation or other american companies that like to region block things from my country which annoys the heck out of me.
I prefer subs more the reason is the dub is usually crap and annoying with stupid words at time and the dub version usually have parts cut out like 4 kids did with yu-gi-oh alot and others. :|

I liked Angel Beats a lot too. Although it is a shame that it wasn't a few episodes longer. Maybe they'll be an OVA or dub? We can always hope! ^_^ TK and Shiina were probably my favourite characters and I liked all the references to Key.
