Yea im sort of the same with that show.
I can understand why ppl dislike it and i have my own complaints with it. One being that the Aincrad arc did a terrible job of introducing characters that later became "important" ones so they seemingly popped up out of nowhere.
Secondly, dont get me started on the ending of the Fairy Dance arc as that wasnt needed at all. They couldve gone about that in loads of different ways but chose that
Then again, it does have its strong suits like its music and its animation.
Also, no matter how you think about this "harem" or w/e, Kirito x Asuna do make one of the best couples IMHO.

The only SAO I love was the one with no Kirito, the Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online.
Llenn was a great character compared to Mr. Harem Kirito.

Just finished watching S1-2 + OVA + movie so im 100% ready for it.
Its one of my favorites and so happy i was able to find sites for the ova and movie.
