My friend keeps recommending that manga series to me but I don't start series that aren't completed, unless they are truly exceptional. Has anyone here read it? Any good? How is the anime too, so far?

Rewatching and then re-reading Ranma ½ at the moment.

I was intrigued by the first episode, but it immediately turns into a kids vs. adults mind-reading genius battle which will probably take up the rest of the adaptation. Not really worth reading unless you're into shounen with twists and asspulls galore.

Going back on topic, I'm watching 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' series and I'm very happy with it. I always look forward weekly to find-out what will happen next, as the plot device although over-used in the anime world is given a very entertaining and unique fresh spin.

'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' is the Sword Art Online and other Isekai anime done right. Very refreshing series to watch.

No real need for it to be remade. It's fine as is. I imagine there won't be that many people IRL crying until a new ocean is born just because a thread hasn't been remade since 2011.

OT: After watching the funi dub of DBZ, I realise the faulconer score is honestly annoying and over rated minus the SSJ3 Ost, no idea what I saw in it back then. Japanese version is better by quite a margin if you ask me. My neighbors a jerk
