I was bored. So I tried rewatching Fairy Tail for the second time. Last time (which was years ago; when it first aired) I stopped after like twenty episodes.

This time I didn't make it past fifteen. Safe to say that series isn't for me.

I also watched the first episode of The Reflection. It wasn't good.

Fate was a real mixed bag this week. Spoiler warning. I really loved the effort Rider put into saving the homunculus but overall it fell a bit flat. Saber beat her offscreen, Berserker went down super easy and without using his phantasm and he wasn't even that strong so why the hell would he rush in 1v7???? Really dislike his portrayal as some kind of war fetishist. Also Saber just giving his life like that was really stupid. He could have told his master his plans and forced him to use healing magic or waste his last command seal.

The Archer vs Rider fight was awesome though. And I still have hope that given how Spartacus died his phantasm might be a bunch of body doubles or something. Also given we saw the two Sabers facing off at the end and homunculus are imitations of life perhaps we will see some interesting developments.

Overall some potential left in the show but I'm cautious.

I've been thinking of making a Pokemon team themed around animals from anime series, and so far I've seen Swinub as Botan from Clannad, and I thought of Litten as Maya from Azumanga Daioh. Are there any other animals that Pokemon could represent? (Save for the Pokemon anime though because that would be cheating) Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

Anime-themed Pokemon team? Shaymin could be Lunch from Dragon Ball.

Speaking of Dragon Ball. That's what I've been rewatching. Not a big fan of shounen series, but that's definitely my favourite one. I love it for some reason.

Not a fan of the newer series such as Dragon Ball Z, GT or the newest one though.

Watched Made in Abyss because of Digi's review and I am so glad I did. The world is beautiful and has excellent world building and the characters are expertly crafted. I love how they have dirty humor but don't really show anything so it is 99% sfw. My only criticism is that the exposition about the upside down Forrest was a little forced. Right now I have it at a 9/10 because despite loving it the show hasn't grabbed me yet. Also it is animated by studio Ghibli!
