Ikkitousen is considered obscure?

I thought it was more popular than that considering the clamour surrounding the Ikkitousen DLC for Senran Kagura for the western market. Though that's probably a vocal minority.

Nah I wouldn't consider it obscure. It was very popular for years after it came out, but it's dwindled since then. The first series is #710 in popularity on MAL. If you ask me, I'd say anything in the top 1000 is at least relatively known by anime fans.
