Fairy Tail was the first anime series I ever watched (in terms of getting me into the medium) so I get a lot of nostalgia from it. I don't think I ever recommend someone to watch it, but I do have a lot of attachment to it and own a fair bit of merch. A lot of people probably like DBZ because they grew up with it but they're most likely aware it isn't a masterpiece.
Eh, Fairy Tail can be entertaining, but it's one of those you finish it and aren't that likely to return anytime soon. Dragonball I can't even finish a series, no matter how hard I try. It's more a "it ran on tv for Saturday mornings for a while, so I watched a little bit" than something I'd go out of my way to watch. I saw how convoluted the story was becoming, and just couldn't stick with it.
Me, I grew up with Pokemon and watched everything I could get my hands on pretty much, and can still say there are things out there better than it.
Pokemon, Dragonball, Fairy Tail, One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, these are all ones in pretty much the same boat. They're the ones you get around to watching at some point just to see what all the hype is about, and decide from there whether or not to keep watching them.
Of the big three, One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach, I'd have to say Bleach is the best of the three. One Piece is long running, and has a extremely good story, but Bleach is so much darker than One Piece, which is something I tend to like. Naruto on the other hand, the original series was okay, but Shippuden was where it went down the drain. Also, Bleach actually has entertaining filler, compared to Naruto, where they've just been trying to squeeze as much out of the series as they can, seeing as the manga has already ended.

The only anime of the season that I have enjoyed is Keijo, because it is so ridiculous.
im about to start that. looks stupid fun
Didn't really think much of that when I read about upcoming shows, but it's been decent so far.
Aside from that I've only gotten around to starting Ajin and Shuumatsu no Izetta. Will probably watch Drifters and Bungou Stray Dogs at some point.

Not a fan of Drifters, but it is done by the same people that did Hellsing, which I also didn't enjoy.
I watched a few things from this season: Drifters, Bernard Jou Iwaku, Shuumatsu no Izetta, Flip Flappers, Stella no Mahou, Shousin Shoujo Matoi and Trickster.
I probably won't be continuing with any of them. Although I might still revisit Shuumatsu no Izetta and Flip Flappers.
