This may be one of the obvious ones not sure, but no game no life fits that and is a great anime in my opinion!

Mirai Nikki
Has a death note vibe, but not as clever. What it lacks in cleverness it makes up for in character development and twists in the plot. I guess you could say it's clever in its own way. I love this anime.
