Problematic is the wrong word. I just don't understand the appeal of Kud when there are just better characters. At least with Kud they didn't decide on her being a loli and then decide to stop writing her character at that point.

Ultimately, she just ticks more of my aesthetic and personality boxes than any other character, plus I tend to respond well to her type of 'build a relationship then forcefully sever it' story. I don't expect everyone to get it, if they did then the harem genre wouldn't be a thing.
