To randomly recommend an anime; Maria Holic is a great one. It's a very relaxed anime, with a massive amount of straight-man versus funny-man comedy. (Contains partial nudity) The plot is basically that the main character, a 16 year old yuri woman, starts at a girls only catholic school in the pursuit of her true love, but is constantly harassed by a cross-dressing boy attending the same school. Hilarity ensues in her search for love.

Sad thing is is that I've seen that show, but I don't remember who that is. Still can't remember after Googling her.

About the only thing I remember from the series is SHINING FINGERRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

O wow. After so many years of rs, i ve just found this on the forums. I've watched so many animes over the years, i've forgotten the titles and main characters names.

Some ongoing animes worth following today are:

Yahari ore no seishun love comedy wa machigatteiru:
This is the second season of Yahari ore. If you haven't seen the first season, I would advise you to watch that first. It's a romantic comedy that takes place at High school. Great storyline and twists. The emotions run high in this one. 9/10.


Shogeki no Souma:
This is one of the most unique animes in it's genre, surpassing it's manga. It's about a young cook, cooking in a small diner; who is about to change High Schools. I don't wan'* to spoil much more than that. The fan service is maybe a bit too much, but it's one of a kind. Give it 3 episodes and you'll be hooked. new episode every saturday. 8,5/10

Arslan Senki:
A war (fantasy) anime in the likes of
Akatsuki no Yona
and
"Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu"
. If you are a fan of the genre, you are gonna love this. Definitely worth taking a look. 8/10

Dungeon ni Deai o Motumero no wa Machigatte Iru darouka:
An mmo rpg type anime that is well worth watching if you have gone through
Sword art online
season 1 (not season 2 cuz that sucked) and
Log Horizon
. It has lot's of fan service with a classic zero to hero plot. 7,5/10

Yahari season 2 has been the surprise of the season for me I enjoyed s1 nice little highschool show but didnt think it was anything special s2 on the other hand has been great my favourite airing show at the minute

Im watching souma nice little light hearted show interested to see where it goes over the 24 episodes fan service seems to have calmed down lately

Though dungeon started off really crap has improved recently but im not to into it (how can people like SAO s1 and not like SAO s2 its the exact same thing as s1?)

watching like 5 other airing shows as well

Akatsuki no Yona and Arslan Sen*i are pretty much nothing alike apart from the basic premise.

Yona is full of annoying one-dimensional characters and the "quest" isn't interesting at all because the dragons are forced to serve her and I don't care about the petty problems of villages. If you've read any decent epic fantasy series you would realize how bad this is by comparison. Arslan Senki is good though.

Just finished Cowboy Bepop since it's been on my list for a while now and I definitely do not see where all the hype and praise this show receives is coming from. Each episode just kept me hoping it would get to the point where everyone seems to put it on a pedestal of perfection.

The animation was pretty good. But IMO the characters and story were just god awful. I enjoyed some of the episodic episodes far more than the actual story.

Oh well, at least it helped pass the time a bit.
