This season I'm watching Black Bullet, Captain Earth, Mek***city Actors, and Knights of Sidonia. Of those four, the only one I really like is Sidonia. Captain Earth is nice to look at but the story is basically just generic teenager stuff and mysterious shadowy organizations who want the aliens to kill everyone. I don't have any strong feelings for Mek***city since I'm not a fan of the songs or source material. Black Bullet is edgy loli harem crap. They like to show little girls being shot, beaten up, or in the case of the latest episode, blown up just to get a cheap emotional response. Oh yeah, and this was just after the MC had them write about their dreams for the future.

Since you asked, heres a list of some shows that I DO like:

-Darker than Black SEASON ONE ONLY

-The first 7 episodes of Kyouso*giga

I have seen everything listed there and they're all at least 8/10 material, excluding Kyouso*giga. I don't know, I just wasn't feeling that one. Nonetheless, I approve.

If you ignored or dropped WIXOSS this season because of card games, go pick it up asap- it'd be a serious contender for AOTS at the rate it's going if Jojo and Mushishi weren't airing. The plot's practically written like the IRL card game they're selling alongside it didn't exist; there's neither an attempt or a need to explain the mechanics within the show.

The individual turns aren't even bothered with, fights are 99% psychological. It's 100% story, and a good one at that. Oh, and there's suffering. Lots of suffering.
