One of my friends recently played through Kanon VN and watched the anime. He told me he thought it was the best Key VN anime adaptation and that it isn't necessary to play the VN after for the best experience. You guys seem to be praising it too so maybe I'll check it out sometime

Well, finished Higurashi last night. That's what, less than three days? Oh well. Was as amazing as I remembered, especially the second season.

At any rate, not sure where to go next. Could use some suggestions, preferably something older, like at least 5 years. Leader of The Enemy ||

Brave Witches automatically gets a look it, same goes for ViVid Strike. Not going to confirm them though becasue Strike witches season two happened and the character designs in ViVid where to weird (plus, it's not A's lets be honest, that franchise was best in it's earliest incarnations. Also, where the heck is the 3rd movie...).

Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku has been getting a fair bit of promotion. The studio has made some pretty good stuff, and I'm always up for dark magical girl stories in this post-madoka universe.

Those are my automatic "You get ONE EPISODE, so don't screw it up!" shows. By this point, I tend to let other people be the guinee pigs and figure out whats shit and what's not before I waste my time. The ones that pass and aren't about sports or set in fantasy universes get their chance afterward.
