~Mononoke Hime Review~

Considering it was made in the late 90s, it was decently good. I liked the action in it, and I really liked the main guy character. For a second in the movie, I thought he was like the older Naruto when he was trying to end the hatred between 2 groups. My main complaint with it was when the main character shot an arrow, the other dude's head or other limb would fly off, and it was a normal arrow and bow. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.

Overall Rating: 7.5/10. I'd recommend this movie to people who love fantasy anime, lol.

I've got an interesting topic of discussion. Which anime character do you hate so much that you want to punch him/her in the face, and why? Be sure to include the anime the character is from.



My answer: It would have to be Yuka from 11eyes. She was alright at the beginning of the series, but she becomes insane later on. I've never despised any character more than Yuka.

Edit: Speaking of which, I think I'll re-watch 11eyes out of curiosity. It's been 3 years since I watched it, and I can't remember much.

Detective Conan - Mouri Kogoro (cuz well, obviously)

Finished TWGOK last week, gahhhdly~~!! Also picked up Strike the Blood because I was bored and couldn't hold it off any longer. So far, nearly every new female character introduced is hot...

Every sentence in your review seems like it was designed to infuriate me. Truly **** taste incarnate. Princess Mononoke is strikingly beautiful and the story is wonderful, but all you say is "It was decent, it reminded me of Naruto"? That's downright insulting.

Edit: And you clearly missed that Ash**aka's curse allowed him sporadic bursts of super-strength. His arm writhes, it's fairly obvious.

1. If you don't like my reviews, don't read them. No need to get worked up. I'm sorry if you're insulted, but it's my opinion.

2. The reason why I didn't mention the curse was that I didn't want to spoil the anime too much (in case someone hasn't watched the anime/movie). Since you have already spoiled that part, I know about the arm. It's just that I would expect there to be something else added while attacking (Like a dark aura suddenly surrounds the arrow as he touches it). The fact that a normal arrow could decapitate someone's head just didn't seem right. That's just my opinion though.

That sounds like my kind of anime, lol. Sounds cool, so i'll check it out eventually.

That happens in the first 5 minutes of the movie and is the initial premise of the plot. Nothing was spoiled by mentioning the curse.

Well, I just thought it spoiled some of it. I usually don't get extremely detailed in my reviews. I just post some of my basic observations and post my rating (which I usually recommend an anime if I rate it a 7 or above).

Anyways, I just finished watching the first episode of Strike the Blood. So far, this is looking like it will be a really good series.
