My bet on the next game to be censored in the West? Genshin Impact.

Why would it be censored? Anime waifus and anime in general is a popular thing in America, I highly doubt they'd target genshin impact. If anything, American investors would try to purchase it because there's so much profit to be made from a modern gacha game like that.
The US government said they wanted to ban tiktok but it never happened.
For the record, tiktok is a maelstrom of underage kids twerking and a haven for sexual predators. Not even "cuties" the movie was censored.

Anyway, censorship sucks but the reality is that you gotta be aware of what you're putting out there and where you're putting it. Companies and organizations aren't going to magically stop censoring things overnight. Generally it's common sense, and sometimes the censorship is necessary to protect people of all ages.

Genshin Impact was already censored, albeit in a minor fashion. Characters fade if viewed at from certain angles whilst climbing objects.

This wasn't present in the initial release of the game, and you can disable it by messing with game files, if you know how.

Everyone should experience new culture and partake to get the full experience of the people of the nation or region of said culture. Hiding from it or banning elements of cultures from everything is how we have games and entertainment equivalent to flavorless jello. It is also an injustice to that culture to avoid it because we may be foreign to said culture.

Censoring everything to prevent feelings from getting hurt or to prevent political ideas we disagree with is a waste of time and energy, we should all just grow up and deal with the issues like adults, if we don't like something just ignore it, if we want to see change we can and should speak up but don't we can't constantly remove historical elements from entertainment especially if those elements are the core of the game or movie. Should we do that then what will be left of history to remember in truth? There probably wouldn't be anything left because it will all have been changed or removed entirely. Censorship is a banishing of the capacity to say or display what someone thinks.

Question, wasn't To Kill a Mockingbird written by Mark Twain?

Gotta love it when localisers butcher things. It's my favourite part of shitty translations or poor attempts at localisation.

Official releases already get a lot of scrutiny, and most publishers are completely untrustworthy. People really shouldn't support the majority of them, as far as I am concerned.

Be it localisers of video games, anime, manga or whatever.

I wish these companies wouldn't license stuff that they seem to actively hate.

Seven seas have also removed some inner monologue from Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou / I'm in Love with the Villainess:

Perhaps they should read the novel(s) before deciding if content within them are "acceptable" for them to release?
