My back garden is totally wild and left to nature. Has no plants really.
Side garden is not worth doing anythign with as it gets very little sun.
The front garden is good. It gets sun from about 10am till sun set. It's about 40 feet by 30 feet. Not too big yet not too small. It has borders with bulbs in and corners has lavender in. Where I park my motorbike I have chimney pots full of bulbs and tubs around them. So plenty of ground for flowers.
Planning Winter bulbs now as they can be planted soon. Then see what Spring shows.
Summer bulbs and flowers will be planned soon as Winter is over. Planning for the bugs and butterflies though is tricky.

2 of the hardest pictures I've taken so far. It would not stay still and I ended up taking over 200 pictures with 6-7 of decent quality.

Over an hour that butterfly was on my plants. It took some time to get any in focus pictures. It was never still long enough.
It even landed on me several times. Was fun trying but I've not got it right. It's close but could and should have done better.

Some great pictures there Aethel Wolf. Especially the top 1. 1 of the places I have on my bucket list to visit.
Today I managed to take this and looking at it it's feet look odd. It looks like it's wearing slippers lol.
Took me over 2 hours to get this shot the way I wanted it.
Had 3 butterflys all over my lavender and they are still there eating it. Just a real pain to get them in a picture when it's blowing a gale.
