Funorb sadly has gone and won't be back.

Jagex have no plans at all to bring it back.

It's been asked for for years and sadly not going to happen.

We have tried everything to ask Jagex to bring it back. Comprehensive Account Security

It's funny just yesterday I was in the Burthorpe Games Room and it reminded me of FunOrb. Such a neat and creative idea for its time. My friends and I enjoyed the the chess and TetraLink the most.

I don't think it should come back however just because it would be sure to fail in our app -dominated modern world. I was sad the day they announced it was closing but I understood and respected the business decision.

We know that Arcanists has a strong fan base that's calling out for a revival though and I know the teams with the knowledge aren't holding their fingers in their ears but the games would need to be completely re-written and that's no small task.

Never mind the Web work that'd probably be needed and we're not a group with plenty of free time!

I played FunOrb to take a break from the grind of RS. I found a few games that were relaxing, helped me to unwind and clear my head. Yes, I miss it, too.

Sounds like in order to bring back FunOrb, or a reasonable facsimile, they would have to hire an entire dedicated staff just for that purpose.
