Red Axe,
There are many folks that have commented here that like the idea of having different foods, especially ones that not only heal but add a boost to another skill.
Odd that you know that folks don't like Fletching or Cooking. After Strength these two skills are the leaders in level 99's by far. But folks just take the time and loss of gps to get something they don't like? Hard to believe.
Kinda like the old saying: "No one goes there any longer, it's just way too crowded."

I obviously disagree with everything you have stated and I think I'll pass on your advise.
Sounds like you have alot of pent up anger.
Funny how the folks that always criticize the easy 99's like Fletching, Cooking, and Firemaking seem to have 99's in all of them. (and sometimes little else)

ehh that just makes things too complicated. in real life, if you're killing a large animal to eat for survival, you're not gunna butcher the entire animal, you'll just cut out the most tender piece of meat you can find before the scavengers make a visit. If this was added, it should just be a part of the cooking skill.
I do not support.

Ogre531,
I'm absolutely fine with you not supporting the idea here but my experiences in real life are completely different. Just for the conversation, in real life, every single hunter I've ever my met that was killing an animal for survival took great care in butchering the carcass to get ever possible piece of meat from it. I've read many non-fiction accounts of folks surviving in the wilderness and I don't recall any that assumed that they will get a kill every time they are hungry.
Every kill you take everything you can.
Now as far as killing newbs, I have little experience there.

ive never been stranded in the wilderness, but ive seen a few episodes of various survival TV shows and they tend to take only what they need for the next stretch of journey.
i dunno, i just think this is a little too specific to get it's own skill. i do believe, however, that it would be a nice addition to the cooking skill.
