The thing is it's not enough to just dangle a carrot at the community and say we're giving players another opportunity to get this override, this purely cosmetic addition to your gameplay
The RARITY of getting this is absolutely ridiculous, you can get 450 keys for nearly £100 and still not get it. Whilst in the element of RNG this would aways possibly happen, the rarity should not be that ridiculous for a cosmetic.
Zombie walk came back and it was still over a billion gp, it took THOUSANDS of keys to try and get it because the odds were like 0.005%.. This is ridiculous.
Academy of Heroes keeps coming back but its only coming with new ability overrides, there has not been a chance to reobtain previous overrides.. I paid 1b for Chaotic Swiftness because it was so rare and hard to get. I bought enough keys to get 138 on the character and gain all the refreshes and darts.. But I did not get ANY of the abilities. I didn't have any chance this time round because of a random glitch that prevented me from linking to the ingame shop to buy keys (this is now fixed but it's too late, AoH is gone and with it the Azure Swiftness chance). Azure Swiftness never when lower than half a bil. Stupid for an override imo.
I don't expect to get everything in 75 keys but in 450 keys ... Do you know what, YES I kinda do expect to get the item I want.. I don't think it's too much to ask given the price.
Before this. The Emerald, ruby and diamond promo.. The suits were cosmetic and they're hundreds of millions in value? Like what?
What is this logic? Jagex are parading cosmetics as if they're best in slot gear and I don't think it's right.
