Quick suggestion to help noobs getting into combat, since it can be confusing remembering all the abilities and their adrenaline cost. Currently we have 2x filters:
[] show unavailable
[] show locked
[] sort by adrenaline cost - suggestion
^ would it be beneficial to players to have a 'sort by tier' (basics / thresholds / ultimate's) ?
That way you can look at your adrenaline and click an ability that is ready to fire. I understand it is currently ordered by defence level (or skill level) but all 'basics' top row would be nice.
I know there aren't many 'new players' on these forums, so it's hard to get a feel for whether this would be worth adding, but I'm only just getting into combat (properly) and I'd appreciate a change like this. I feel like the work-around is to simply list them basic/thresh/ult 'manually' on an action bar, but it would be nice if I didn't have to do that. Sure, I could just memorise which ones are basics, thresholds or ultimate's but that's another obstacle that puts me off full-manual. The complexity of manual combat could be made easier. Food for thought.

Support. I often go through all of my abilities to select some based on their adrenaline cost, and I usually don't use the 100% ones. It would be nice if they were sorted. Perhaps even marked with a differently colored frame or something, so we can easily see which ones are 100%, which ones are 50%, and which ones have no adrenaline cost.

Great suggestion, a colour coded border around the icons could work.
EDIT -
I tested it out with some random colours and came across a problem. We have abilities that are already colour coded, eg: mage blue, ranged green. This could clash with borders. I think sorting by adrenaline would be best, and the easiest thing for them to code / add to game.

Then how about simply writing it on the ability? A small 50% or 100% in the corner, or maybe an icon that shows it, like a gold/silver/bronze thingie. Sorting is good, but I think a visual clue would be better.
