I don't know to what extent firemaking can be expanded or how useful that would be in the game unless we get a more survival-focused region - maybe it will come as we venture farther into the Eastern lands beyond the arc and to the actual continent lol.

I do imagine a construction rework would come with or after WC / fletching being expanded, unless the focus with a POH expansion is on more special building materials vs just wood for everything. There is a shred of hope in me that, down the road, our construction skills will be applicable to the necromancy city. It would be kinda cool if we get more customization options for our city of the dead and options to build onto it. My focus here though is POHs since it's awesome, but unfortunately dead content which as you stated - is the central part of the most isolated skill. Good point about the load screens, I'd imagine that can be fixed although that is an area of game development I'm not as knowledgeable about. I don't know if it's a content / memory size issue or a remnant of the java days. Perhaps both? It seems all houses load the same whether they are a massive and filled dungeon like mine or a shack with a menagerie like the average player's these days.

I have a portal room just because, lol. It's kind of a cruel joke as when pvp is enabled it's the only way out of my house other than death >.>

POHs are a mess right now, I'd hope with any construction overhaul they'd clean up the kinks that have been there since 2006.

A small summoning obelisk would be another reason to use your POH; the prayer altar is the only reason I see worth using your POH, unless of course training your construction or repairing your armour and weapons, but if you could fill your prayer and summoning in one stop, that would be nice.

If it weren't for the POH, prayer would be only filled by potions, because there doesn't seem many conveniently located altars. But thanks to POH we have an altar as conveniently located as we choose for it to be, it would be nice if summoning got the same treatment.

Not sure how I overlooked that. Thanks. I guess I never made the room it is in before.
Should have figured there would be one in an outdoor room though.

Lol np. Hey - if it wasn't an existing feature I definitely would have added it to the thread! Anything within reason to motivate people to use POHs is a plus

I doubt they're going to do anything further with the POH now, since they've introduced the fort in order to rework and fix construction in the first place.

To be fair the introduction of all the new planks made it even more complex than it was before, since they wouldn't only have to fix the tons of technical and graphical shortcomings (I mean I am honest - even with modern settings those paper thin walls just do not look adequate... it fitted for pre-HD and early HD, but even the later stages of HD just looked so much better already with comparable concepts like daemonheim) and the lack of QoL OS actually has received st some point (such as the ability to move your rooms as you like to more easily create the very layout you'd like) - now they even have to try and get the POH into something remotely coherent when it comes to plank tiering.

It's just not done with adding a new feature here and there, since you always have to ask now - why in the POH (especially with the tons and tons of issues not fixed) and not the fort?

I mean I certainly would love if they could make something cool out of the POH concept, since it's just your (which the fort by design can't ever be) place - but that what we currently have has aged so horribly, they would need to start from scratch.
Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2
Quick Fixes: Invention

I don't agree with the fort argument as even though it can train construction it severely lacksa customization, which is the beauty of POHs.

They likely will have to start from scratch for a complete POH rework, but I don't believe moving rooms will be too difficult of a feature to add, and additional rooms with more / higher tier furniture options could build off what we already have. Personally though I'd rather see new trees added for POH furniture, I'm sure elder planks are sturdy but they lack the beauty of exotic wood lol. The effort that 21 more levels of POH content would take is why my suggestion includes incentives for players to use them. The goal is to keep the content engaging and useful, at least longer than POHs were
