The Guardian Mummy has opened a new shop,
every time you open a gold chest or Sarcophagus/Engraved Sarcophagus you get 1 Plunder Point which can be spent in the new shop.


LIST OF REWARDS
Pantheon Orb - 1000 Points
Used to combine Sceptre of the gods and Pharaohs Sceptre forming the Pantheon Sceptre, this will make it so you can hold Unlimited charges also gives 10 Prayer Bonus when wielded

25% Reduced chance of Snakes/Mummies/Scarab swarms spawning . - 50 Points

Looted Seals/Statuettes are now Noted - 150 Points

Increased Pyramid Plunder timer by an extra 25 seconds - 100 Points

Pet Guardian Mummy - 100 Points

Pass spear trap walls permanently without setting them off - 450 points

50% Success Rate Picklocking Tomb Doors - 100 points

Black Ibis Mask Add On - 150 Points
Used on the Black Ibis Mask to make a Modified Black Ibis Mask
(ADDED EFFECT) 3% chance of double pickpocket
(TELEPORT LOCATION) Thieves Guild & Rogues Den
(MAX DAILY LOOT) 50 Stone Seals (used to charge the pharaoh's sceptre)
this will apply to the master camouflage Hood including the 3% chance which brings it up to 10% double pickpocket chance

Access Hidden Room 9 - 1000 points
Requires 99 Thieving with increased XP Rates

Unlock New Drop Table Rewards when looting - 500 Points
New unique drop table consisting of
Uncut Gems/Coins/Necroplasm/Bones

Very Rare Pharaohs Skull (1/10000) drop rate
Used in Necromancy Rituals which holds candles/flaming skulls inside it and can be placed on 1 light source which acts as all light source spots, every time the candle durability ends it automatically places more candles depending on how many is stored.

Thieving XP - 1 Point
Lvl 1/10 - 25xp
Lvl 10/25 - 50xp
Lvl 25/50 - 100xp
Lvl 50/75 - 150xp
Lvl 75/99 - 200xp

Some good ideas here. Not too overpowered, and points only accruable from chests / sarcophagi means players will need to balance XP rates and currency rates. Thieving needs some help, and an update like this will be a simple way of adding a little bit of variation.

I would potentially add Black Ibis pieces to the shop, just as a bad luck mitigator, at something like 500 points per piece. Perhaps only unlockable after a certain level to keep in line with how it is currently.

I like the ideas in general, albeit I would tackle PP in general first.

While you do propose things like buyable improved odds, that are things that need to be fixed from this activity in general. Otherwise you're forcing players during something, that just aged like milk for extended amount of times (which is the implication for your proposed rates of obtaining points), before you come up with a "btw, here you can partially fix the activity". I'll come to that partially then.

What's first on my mind what outright breaks this activity are three things: Poor xp rates, asinine failure rates and further worsened gameflow due to dead inputs related to basically. Fixing those three things are an absolute minimum before it can even be considered for a currency system like that. It certainly needs more spit and polish afterwards, but yeah...

I'll leave a bit of commentary for your proposed rewards:

- Sceptre: I think as rare as the sceptre of the gods is, it really just could have infinite teleports upon completing the elite desert tasks. It just doesn't need yet another layer of reward space for that aspect. OS basically gives out an infinite regular sceptre upon completing their elite tasks (you gain 100 teleports for each recharge (and since you charge way less into a pharaoh's sceptre...) - or a bit less depending on your actual progress).
- Reduced vermin spawns: As written before, it should be baseline upon reaching a level related to the room - certainly before unlocking the next one, a few levels sooner with the desert diary reward. Like they guaranteed opening the correct door to the pyramid itself just for reaching a certain level.
- Noted loot: Awesome
- More time: Not too interesting, but it certainly is a QoL improvement.
- Pet: Always a nice addition
- No failures for traps: Should be baseline once again, at least at some point.

- Increased chance for doors: Dito, but as an alternative suggestion: Allow players to progress with any door to enter both the pyramid as well as the next room - that would be an actually QoL improvement, not just some unlockable bug fix.
- Black ibis addon: Nice thing
- Hidden room 9: Also a cool addition, albeit I don't think it's a super great idea locking something rare behind an activity, that requires you to be at the level cap.
- XP: Should be level dependent, static xp rewards are never good on higher levels. I think with your proposed acquisition rates for points - 5 to 10 % of a small lamp per point shouldn't be too off. For 10 % you would gain 34 xp per point at level 21 and 887 at 99. Maybe it also could contain a static component to be more relevant at lower levels, but the 100 xp basically would be surpassed from level 46 onwards already.

One of the game jam projects a while ago involved a bad luck protection for PP when it comes to obtain black ibis pieces and the sceptre, but I do think using the point mechanic for a shop system would be a great addition.
