I'll be traveling for the next two weeks and won't be able to respond or bump nearly as often. If you like this idea and want to help keep this thread alive please give a bump once in a while.
Thank you.

"Doubt you need someone to tell you that."
>I sure do.
It's a pretty easy method to eliminated junk quest items:
If you don't use or need a quest item, get rid of it.
The useful ones can be reattained anyway.

>Costumes and books and that's all? Sounds like you could use this yourself.
I do use the costume room, and have it nearly filled (except for most skillcapes and treasure trail items)
Completed the bookcase and such.

>How about all those Mage robes, all sorts of armor, all your treasure trails rewards, quest items, toys, and lots more.
Treasure trail items should be sold, they do you no good collecting dust.
Quest items...there are over 1.8k
Toys are in there, but you can receive them from Diango anyway.
The only armors are just unique ones.

>The point here is that if you are trying to get rid of some stuff and raise money the 10 most valuable could alert you to some possibilities that you might have missed. The 10 least valuable would be an even better tool as it would really help clear your bank of the items of little value that are just taking up space.
Now it's valuable quest items?
Out of the 1.8k Quest items, a good amount of them are non-tradeable or completely useless (or both).
The only valuable Quest Items are like the Dragon Lumps, raw materials, and armours(and even then, not all armours).
>You are missing the point of the GE runner entirely.
You missed the point of my post: We don't need one.

>Again, this is just another tool to help you with your full bank and helping folks decide what to get rid of in order to create more bank space.
And you have yet to think of Jagex's end of the deal with this update.
Coming up with around 1,800 dialogues for items that can easily be classified as useless?
I got a quest item which I forgot which quest it went to...so it must be valuable!!!

>Knowing all the banked items I have that I can purchase at any time form a store would certainly assist me in my choices.
Or it's better to just search for the items.
You are actually calling people idiots, as they won't even remember why they got a certain amount of easily purchasable items.

>Of course all the things I have listed here can be done through research but that takes time and time I personally don't want to spend when I could be doing something much more fun (the reason we play, right?).
Well, you want to make Jagex work on something most people won't care about. 1,800 different dialogues about items most people to throw away?

>Most successful inventions have one thing in common, they make a difficult job easier. That is the point of this suggestion.
You're trying to make Jagex's job harder so you can have an easier time playing.
Even I could tell you which items to get rid of.

>Red Axe, Thanks for the comments.
Will you please provide a Jagex reference for your comment below?
I think it was lost in the great amount of Q&As or something.
It mainly goes on the fact that there is almost 2,000 Quest Items.

>Thank you. I'm very much looking forward to reading it.
Sorry, but couldn't find it.

Well, Red Axe, it turns out I have a few minutes for a reply.
So only 1800 quest items?
So do you think a Jagex employee with access to the Jagex database assigned to this task could research 10 items an hour and create this database? I can do more than 10 items an hour without the help of Jagex.
At 10 items and hour for an 8 hour work day thats 80 items and 400 items in a week. At this rate it would take 5 weeks for just one person to gather all the information (the information being just: is a quest item used in a ffuture quest or not, a simple yes or no). So my guess is you would then say, "if you can do it so easily why ask someone else to do it for you"?
Because that's what I'm paying for.

"Treasure trail items should be sold, they do you no good collecting dust. "
My point was that your POH holds alot more than costumes and books, and it does.
I think it should be upto each player as to what they keep or not, but thanks for your advice.
*****************
The suggestion of listing your 10 most valuable and 10 least valuable items made no reference to those items being quest items, nor did any later comments other than yours.

"You missed the point of my post: We don't need one."
Well its over 200 to 1 here that don't believe that you're speaking on their behalf.

Again, as I see it there is over a 200 to 1 ratio here showing your comments are just incorrect. Who are these folks you're speaking about?
continued.
