If you can wait through a whole skill, then that obviously means ppl are ok with waiting.

I don't want rng to be a source of these aura's, unless it's a bonus source, but giving additional options on how to get the aura's isn't a bad thing I guess.... Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;

Skilling auras can easily be made into rewards for their corresponding guild/skilling shops. They'd make good rewards for that kind of thing in similar vein to how you can get combat auras from War's retreat. Since most of the aura refreshes you get are only usable on combat auras, I also think there should be a way to get skilling aura refreshes. How to block a forum user

Sadly not every skill has a guild or at least one with an activity currency
