This is an annoying req and for that reason I have a free stroopwafel trade forum post to help people, after someone was charging a lot for trades. But of course I am limited to the ones I get traded back and they are such a rare thing as the only time they are introduced to the game is when J Mods join us mere mortals at events like the RS 20th birthday.

Can Stroopwafels be introduced as a rare drop from MAW say or when opening event boxes like the collecting spooky tokens? We need a new way to get them in game, not in great numbers but some!!

Rather than making it a rare drop, I'd prefer if they just gave us the ability to make them ourselves. Most of the "flavours" of Stroopwaffels are ingredients that are already permanently available in-game (Banana, Chocolate, Honey, Strawberry, Cinnamon), which leaves just Caramel and Coffee; perhaps we could get a minor Farming/Cooking expansion that lets us grow our own sugarcane (which could be cooked into caramel) and coffea bushes (and have the beans also be capable of being used to brew Coffee as some sort of low-level run-energy-restoring drink?)

Sure, I wouldn't be against some form of implementing them into the main game. Perhaps a small Cooking-related bottle quest could be added, alongside a source of the ingredients Vengeance mentioned?

Perhaps in the short term, they could also offer them more widely as part of a limited event? Something akin to mince pies from the Christmas event.

Any way would be good. The last ones I got was at the RS 20th Birthday event where the J mods attended and i spammed Stroopwafel!!!! and they gave them out, I got the ones I needed and had a few spares. At that time there was someone selling trades for 100m which I thought was an outrage, hence my free trade service.

Back when Mod Lee did a lot of events it would have been possible to get them, plus love letters, but when do J Mods ever appear in game? Rarely. With Stroopwafel and Love letters, they basically have an unachieveable achievement.

Honestly they should remain as they are currently, just with more Jmod engagement. For example during streams, get a couple of Jmods in game taking feedback and doling out waffles. After a bit of testing log on, first person they see waffle time, it’d take like 5 mins and brighten up that players day.
If they become readily available through cooking or W/E as others have suggested then they become pointless.

How they did it with Wilhelm was ok and I suppose it’d be alright for more to trickle in the same or similar ways.
Check out Thieves guild layout redesign. Happy ‘scaping

That's an interesting point, the problem is that Mod Lee used to do weekly in game hosts. The last time I saw a J mod was in 2020.

The waffles were introduced to celebrate the 10 year Dutch Community Anniversary, so maybe Wilhelm should appear every April for a week like last time?
