I alway felt that feature was missing in Runescape. I don't see why it should have a cooldown though, or be a spell. You cannot click very far away on the minimap. I often click 3-4 times to run to a place, and I always have my minimap zoomed all the way out.

Where are you running that it's that far? There's teleports to everywhere... Kings Eastwood in

From the Oo'glog lodestone to jungle strykewyrms for instance, or from the wilderness lodestone to charming moths, just to name a few.

Do you have handy teleports for those?

That's not so far from a lodestone, especially the strykewyrms. It's like clicking two or three times on your minimap and you're there. Kings Eastwood in
