I see that we won't need Pernambucco trees in RuneScape after all.
A possible alternate environmentally responsible wood for making violin bows is called "Amourette" or "Amarette". While the term "Amaretto wood" is used for maple, oak, and several other woods, "Amourette" specifically refers to pieces of snakewood that don't exhibit the dramatic figuring usually characteristic of that wood.
Well, we don't have snakewood trees in RuneScape either.
But there is another tree very closely related to snakewood with wood that has very similar characteristics. It has a striking red color. Hence, it is called
bloodwood
.
Unfortunately, of course, the bloodwood trees we have in RuneScape have a special property in that their wood can't be carried far from the tree unless fully fletched into bakriminel bolts.
So it's clear what needs to be done. Existing bloodwood trees need to be renamed to be "Elder Bloodwood" trees, and for making violin bows, a new kind of tree, the "Red Bloodwood" tree needs to be added!
