When you compare the ore box to the wood box you can feel just how much the ore box lacks in comparison. This QoL update would allow us to store stone spirits in the box and allow us to upgrade it to elder rune +5 to allow us to store even more ore (having level 95 and having done the oresome achievement will allow up to 260 ore per type). This would put it on par with the wood box.

In general - the wood box in general feels like it really has evolved from the ore one.

But - storing spirits is not an innate ability of it - you're unlocking it via the grove building in the fort. Something similar (and for geodes vs. bird nests while at it) should be unlocked via some kind of mine building as well. I mean there is that ominous cave near the grove after all...

What they could do though:

- Give the box 10 additional slots for each tier you're upgrading it and 10 more slots for every 10 levels you reach. To be honest I would cut the oresome slots then, things don't need to be more complicated than they are.
- It should be able to hold non-core ores upon using an adequately tiered ore box. Don't think family crest would need some replacement at that point, since it still has plenty of fancy rewards.
- I wouldn't introduce, that +x system for boxes to be fair (there probably is more than just a reason why it never was used for those), but I could get behind a masterwork box... maybe even a trimmed one. Not really needed with the other improvements though - 260 slots are plenty. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

To be frank...the ore box suggestions that I am seeing on the forums and reddit are poorly executed. I will be creating one myself shortly, and yes I intend to incorporate the ideas of the other players as well, to include my own unique touches to it.

The reason behind this, is that an in-depth overhaul is required to ensure that the box gets the love that it deserves to be perfectly fair.
