...or similar event.

Hi everyone. Meow

Remember the Draynor bank robbery? I know you do because let's be candid here, this game has very few players who aren't offered the senior discount at the Blue Moon Inn. Wasn't that occurrence epic? Logging in, going to Draynor for whatever reason, and encountering everyone chatting about a robbery?

RuneScape needs more events like that, for the sake of world-building and potential material for future quests.

Kind of like my other thread I'm suggesting more of a concept so I don't feel a need to include too many specifics, but here are some ideas.

- Another robbery! Maybe a bigger bank (or a hilariously smaller one).
- a failed robbery! Maybe the Sandwich Lady isn't doing so well financially and tries to rob a bank, but fails. Any damage is visible with npcs working to fix it and she is now in the nearest jail.
- A protest! Something with the game's politics. Maybe the people of Lumbridge are upset over the city's wealth or (more specifically) severe lack of? In that one quest where
the Duke is asking Saradomin for gold to repair the city and he asks for a mere 2 million. That would be fine if the quest was released in like 2005, but it's a NEW QUEST. I'm considered impoverished by most other 138s and apparently I can buy Lumbridge and it's implied I could probably afford most of the cities. *sings "I Just Can't Wait to be King"

- Dr. Ford appears in Varrock slums inhabiting a crate (with a stamp from a cabbage company). Remember why he got fired as a random event? Turns out he had the...uhh...same issue at his practice so he lost that job, too. There could be a follow-up event a year later where he is again working as a doctor but his middle fingers have been amputated.
- In an unused area a house appears with an NPC named Dorothy.

I do like this idea, though I doubt it will become a real adventure.

More updates need to feature existing content and force more life into areas that seemingly aren't really visited much anymore. My only suggestion if they do this ... make it a timed event (lasting a week or two) as if it's a flash event with extended periods of time. If not this, make all of these as mini-quests. I really wish mini-quests were a huge thought rather than investing in gigantic quests. Though the mini-quests lately have been absolutely terrible. Most would probably disagree, but I'd love to see one mini-quest per month. But with all of the focus on MTX, its doubtful to get good content all but a few times a year.

My biggest memory of this type of content would be Edgeville being (basically) destroyed.

The adventure is my other thread :D This thread is just...what you stated in regards to bringing more life into the game. Edgeville destruction was great! I remember my reaction first going there after ROTM.

I could get behind monthly events but I doubt we would see something like that considering all the extra work Jagex would have to put into it even if it sucks. The Falador Masacre Falador Massacre Anniversary was fun

We should have a Quest where we kill the Wise Old Man for that.
I am the Brown Spotted Pit Zmija.

Whilst playing OSRS I learned to play without magic(k) accumulation, so quit at 99 Thieving. Restituting getting 99 Ranged on RS3 now.

I wouldn't be opposed to being an executioner lol. In the goblin quests I did choose to
kill Zanik.

Plus he's a Saradominist and I've been Zarosian since the day I completed Desert Treasure all those years ago.

Great idea. I can see robberies being another addition to thieving training, or a flash event outside the wildy, or quests that explore a npc robbing banks and we either are on their side or trying to catch them or a world event style temporary event.

It would be cool if we had more heists, maybe if they ever rework thieving that could be an option.

Mainly I'd just like to see more minor, random stuff happen in RS like the Draynor robbery.

That sounds a lot like the Heist minigame...

Money Heist in RS would be entertaining. Give us a group of anti-mtx NPCs sending a message to the bank of Varrock lol
