As someone who'd very interested in Runescape lore, it's frusrating that everything is jumbled in together and has to be unpicked.

I'd love to see a challenge mode that more strictly enforced chronological quest order and, most importantly, locks (and ideally hides) all 6th-age content until after you complete the 5th age.
I would start a new account today if I could experience Gielinor through that lens.

I mean, there's nothing stopping you from doing so already.
Just set your quest list to categorize quests by fifth/sixth age and then you can easily see and ignore the quests which are part of the sixth age until after you've done the fifth age quests.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
