Ah. I don't know the mechanics of a lot of those bosses, so I don't know if it would work as well as the bm raid would. If it works, sure - make high stakes versions of as many bosses as possible
Thanks for the suggestion!

This update would go well with my patented teleport block group spell, which on cast allows you to entangle players, and gives you access to provoke target to other. It's usually a good idea to heal other the boss just before you barricade and intercept it...........
High stakes bm sounds like great fun
No support however
Death is not the opposite of life, but in fact a part of it.
My issue with this is that it creates opportunity for chaos within communities that wish to add the addition for higher chance only to have their friends pick value over friendship and loyalty. Rs3 community is not what it once were, overflowing with players and worlds filling up. I feel that total loss would only encourage more to quit playing, having lost faith and trust in the community they believe to be civil. For the most part many can agree…the toxicity is not worth the trouble and only calls for reaction when screwed over.
I don’t see why you would not suggest a semi-safe raid with PvP addition but instead of risking your gear to other players on death, dead players are removed from the instance and may only observe the fight locking them out from the rewards. It does what you suggest without risk of high level gears but does risk individual access to reward on victory (killing of raid boss/bosses)
First of all, you never got to keep the other players gear - nor do they lose it. That would be like wilderness pking
Deaths have the same punishment as normal, but instead of your reclaim cost going to death, it goes to the victors. Successful players get an equal share of the total
"item reclaim cost"
of all players who died - and now with the new death mechanics, that would be an even less significant amount.
Second, this isn't supposed to be friendly content where everyone holds hands and helps each other. The whole intention is to do the opposite of what you'd expect. To play against your team mates in a boss battle. To be the last man/men standing - for the greatest possible rewards.
If you don't like this sort of game-play, that's fine. No one is forced into it and I'd recommend not trying it to begin with. Do the standard raids where everyone works together. This is supposed to be chaotic content, with a lot of risk and potentially a lot of reward. If you get too greedy and kill the whole team, and you then... fail to kill the boss by yourself - no one gets anything. Everyone has to weigh up who and how many players they can get killed, while being able to survive with the minimum amount of players, who will therefore, maximize their reward.
