As you all might know, there’s an archaeology potion, but no super or extreme versions of it. Archaeology is a skill where if you boost for it, you’re gonna through a lot of potions. It’s not a skill like crafting where you pop a potion for the occasional item you need to make. A +5 boost from super or a scaling boost from extreme would be a huge help

Support, but Rikornak makes a very good point; standard Archaeology potions already have very high requirements (seriously, for Ironmen they require 96 Archaeology just to get the recipe, let alone actually making the blasted thing) so finding a way to squeeze in a Super version could be quite tricky.

To be honest, I wonder if the best solution would be to lower the requirements of normal Archaeology potions to something more reasonable and retcon the recipe into being for Supers. Most standard-tier skill-boosting potions have significantly lower level requirements (usually in the 40s-50s), and while Orthen was added at a time when there was an embargo on stat boosts for Archaeology aside from it and Soil Tea, that's not the case anymore, making the high requirements feel very archaic.

Maybe lower the normal potion to level 59, and put the Super recipe where it used to be (78)? And the secondary ingredient for the Super potion could be a cup of Soil Tea instead of just a single piece of soil.

That’s not a bad idea, and the soil tea as ingredient to upgrade to super makes perfect sense.

As a thought on top of that, the regular archaeology potion recipe could be bought with chronotes from the archaeology guild and like u said the one from orthen could become the super recipe

The soil tea also is such a thing - it more feels like an easter egg item, for some reason locked behind 76 archaeology. It's really like they do not even want you to boost that skill at all. So it might be worth changing that tea only needing one kind of soil - so you would be able to use that thing basically from the get-go as soon as you've discovered the easter egg behind it. Then get with your assistant qualification the regular potion and eventually super. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2
