Since i got my account back after i got hacked over 1 year ago and had nothing left on my rs3 account but i had cash on my osrs account and swapped to my rs3 account and got banned for it (temp ban) it just pissed me off so i started to think about a solution to make swapping more reliable and safe. Not sure if it's just me or if the solution is actually this easy and we are just too lazy to implement it, not sure about that but here is my thought:
make a Swapping centre in both OSRS and RS3 where players can go to with the amount they want to swap from either RS3 to OSRS or OSRS to RS3. The trading centre is linked to both games and kinda works as a trading screen, but to make it more secure you have to both fill in a 4 digit pincode or something that's linked to the swap you want to make. As example, i want to swap 550M osrs like i did last week for 6.325b RS3 then i can put that amount in a there for made trading screen in OSRS and the person i swap to puts the 6.325b in at RS3. We both fill in the pincode that the creator of the swap filled in so it can only be entered by the 2 players who want to swap with eachother. Put up both amounts of money within OSRS and RS3 and the rest works as a normal trading screen, 1st screen shows both amounts, you have to both click accept to go to the 2nd confirmation screen and there you can both double check if everything is right and accept again to complete the swap. I don't understand why it's so hard to just implement something like this, even if you can't directly connect to both games then you can seperate this aswell.
instead of both games got a connected swap system you can make one in OSRS and RS3. The one who wants to swap from osrs puts his amount in on osrs and trades with someone in osrs and the same counts for RS3, then make a system that both players will receive their traded amounts in both games and boom you have a ingame swapping system, like this isn't hard guys....
