I've taken a long break from RS back in 2014 after 10 long, fun years of playing, so unfortunately I was not around when they began bringing in Community Helpers back in 2016 was it? However I do occasionally log in to the forums and sometimes in the lobby, I do scope around and see quite a lot of wonderful posts and helpful tips and advice that the Community Helpers have been giving, especially since I'll be coming back soon, I need to see what I'm coming back in to!
It's very upsetting that there still are some people out there who will discredit them simply because they don't display the fancy green crown in forums, or even the highly admired silver crowns displayed in games. People would often call them "wannabe's" which is just not the case at all, well at least in the older times I would see it quite a lot, not sure how it is now, but I've came across a few. Crown or not, they've helped make quite a difference in the community, and it's also been beneficial I can imagine for the current Forum Moderators as well.
Back then in the 2004 - 2014 era when I was actively playing, this was quite the big thing, people would demand feedback solely from Moderators... Jagex, Player and or Forum, and nobody else, and this I could see would be very overwhelming and frustrating too because they want to enjoy the game just as everyone else would.
Anyways, my main point is, Community Helpers do this all out of passion because they too like to help, as people should in general. It's voluntary and they take their time out to assist someone in need of assistance,and as I've stated before and will again, it is all greatly appreciated, and the helpers will most definitely continue to go highly noticed! Keep up the good work everyone.

Thanks a lot for your help with my task
I have tried out several methods to complete the task, i asked friends, looked up on forums but nobody was able to help me with my problem until YOU replied to me! You did a great job and without your help i'd have probably given it up. Keep going like this and I hope that I can take advantage of your advice sometime again!
