If you had an inactive sale offer for a rare is there any way you could cancel the offer before it went through if you had the top of the line gaming pc and internet connection? Assuming you logged in right at the ge without a PIN. It would suck to remember the pass for your old acc with a phat sell in the ge and the sale went through before you could cancel.
Nope. I wish they would auto put all inactive offers back to bank.
I think having a toggle to toggle the offer back on is a reasonable update, upon logging back in after a week.
I don't understand personally why an individual has to be penalised by having an inactive offer if they for example, couldn't log in due to no fault of their own.
This isn't a real life market, it's a game. So i think updates like this only help the quality of the game, and not players who have max cash offers to buy inactive transactions.
That being said, all that GP on alts and mules ready to buy inactive offers will inevitably enter the GE, so it's a case of, let 1 individual every so often make a huge profit, or change the mechanic and let hundreds of bill inject the economy at once. I think that rare prices would only go up if they made that change, but i still believe it's a healthy change for the game, for old players returning.
I'm sure if an old player came back, they would inevitably leave the game again if they saw their 3b santa hat sold for 200m, or even their party hat they had selling at max cash in 2012 sold upon logging in.

They can make it 1 year before it goes inactive so you don't have feeling of regret.
I still think a toggle to make the items active again is still best course of action. Even a year, though it seems like a long time, the only people benefitting from inactive offers becoming active are new players looking to take advantage of the mechanic.
I think this mechanic is unfair on older players who are returning, who most likely didn't even know the mechanic are hindered. Players who come back with actual items, which are sold by this mechanic are at a huge disadvantage financially compared to how much gain the people who have these offers in would make.
TBH it's surprising that it hasn't been removed already. Most likely, the players who have their inactive offers fill, come back and assume it sold over the years, not even on log in.
