I guess scythe is seen as less certain regarding discontinuity. If pumpkings return, everything will return.
Rares seem to have a hierarchy of certainty, but there's no reason to believe any will lose discon status. I'm not trying to manip anything down. I don't expect any sort of return. I'm wanting to explain the relative drop in price. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

I agree on what your saying, if im correct your saying: if something is discontinued it doesnt mean it will stay discontinued forever right?. jagex holds all the power over that but they know if they rerelease certain stuff alot of people might leave the game resulting in the game getting discontinued

a little joke there but im sure that they know if they pull certain acts that the game might lose alot of players because of those choices. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

They already tested the water with walk tokens many players paid bills for them, walks were probably more commonly used and spread out in the community. but a very small minority holds majority of all the rares. And many probably don't contribute anything in revenue terms they buy in-game bonds. So, my conclusion is they won't be reluctant to bring them back at some point. it's basically upsetting a small minority that doesn't contribute much in dollar terms VS making massive sums of money from the other 90% by selling keys. With releases such as the GPH,GSH,B'hween and frosted wreath/scythe we are definitely headed that way, but before that expect more quasi rares to be released you gotta milk the cow as much as you can before killing it
