Yes, unless Jagex introduce very strong deflationary measures.

However, I think you may have to wait 2+ years, and in the meantime they are likely to dip below current prices.

I know it is unfashionable to compare GPH to fish masks. Yes, they are completely different. But when masks were released, the hype was similar. It took about 8 years for masks to return to their initial highs!

I'm not sure I'd dare post this in the GPH thread because I'd probably get abuse. O_o

I'm not sure I'd dare post this in the GPH thread because I'd probably get abuse. O_o If I still had my old wealth, I’d be selling phats to buy gph at some point. The reason:

1. We know gph is discontinued. Some other “rares” might be rubber turkied.

2. Gph trades in the ge.

3. Gph is like a Santa in that it is enormously popular.

4. Old rares might eventually be made untradeable due to rwt concerns.

If you have items you obtained through a bug then I would strongly suggest you report it so Jagex can plug it.

There is 5 active people on the forum. The dedicated threads get one post a day at max.
There is no activity,no hype no nothing. In w2 noone is advertising to buy or sell a GSH and barely anyone advertising a GPH. The whole game feels like a desert.

How will any item go up in these conditions?

Its disapointing tbh,somewhere i was hoping the game would become more active but that doesnt seem to be the case. After a short burst the amount of activity is back on the slow and steady declining slope it has been on for years. It makes one sad but it is what it is i guess :(

i think closing the duel arena depleted some of the player base because there were alot of dedicated duel arena players. im sure some of them are now trying to learn pvm instead of staking but some others might have moved on to another place to gamble. i think gwd3 was a nice update but i hear alot of feedback on the difficulty of the bosses. mostly that the bosses are too easy to kill( im really surprised that a skilling boss has been added to a pvm title i think they should reevaluate this decision). the new skilling place is a bit simple made imo. it has decent things like the new powders. but it lacks creativity. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

I haven’t checked out gwd3 yet, but I was impressed by arc, archaeology, and the gold phat.

I’m glad the duel arena is gone. Over the years, there has been one scam there after another. Maybe, as with the market, a bit of darkness makes the game more interesting. I dunno. But I’ve never liked it.

My primary issue is I’ll never have time to play all the new content, but I hope they can attract new players. A game is either expanding or dying. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(
