This could actually be not his fault. There are times where ill click to sell an item on the G.E. and it will show that item at first that was meant to show up, but then switch to a different item that I'll have either bought recently or one that is in my inventory that I didn't want to sell the second before I hit confirm. Its definitely something Jagex should actually look into and (potentially) give this guy his phat back. I haven't ever been able to replicate it on purpose, but I think it usually happens when I'm spam insta selling random items at -40%. Keepsake or bank your rares when using the g.e.

I feel that Jagex should revert this trade. Selling a red phat for <2,1b when the street price of a red phat is something in between 40-50b should rise some questions. Submit a ticket to Jagex and I do hope you get your hat back.
