Yeah, the GE buttons are horribly written. I've accidentally ins a stack of an item before even though I entered 1 and the interface displayed 1. They need to be updated, bc they're buggy as hell. Also I don't expect Jag or the buyer to return your hat, unfortunately. Sorry to hear this happened.

I doubt Jagex has the time, but it'd be neat if we got a warning message when attempting to sell an item instantly for max cash. "Warning, you're about to do something that is probably stupid." Damn, so that's how a red partyhat got sold in GE. If you are willing to chuck your most precious possessions like phats because someone said words like crashing/dying/quitting and then find yourself unable to rebuy for what you sold for, then you don't deserve to own a phat.

Yeah, I agree, GE interface is buggy as hell. You are not alone. GE interface glitch made me accidentally instant sell a pumpkin or easter a few months back for GE mid price, fortunately, I ended up getting way more than GE mid for it. If you are willing to chuck your most precious possessions like phats because someone said words like crashing/dying/quitting and then find yourself unable to rebuy for what you sold for, then you don't deserve to own a phat.

Feel bad for the poster, it's a known bug that the Grand Exchange can display a new item that you clicked but the action takes the previous one.

You probably clicked on the Red first, then the seasons. GE displayed season but you sold the Red.

I've experienced something similar quite a few times but nothing to this scale. Sad to hear people putting some blame on you since it's not your fault at all.
