(cont) yeah an aside on breeding log completion. I have, in real life, bought buckets of ladybugs for my garden* many times, so I'm glad bug farmers exist, but I am never doing spiders. at all. Players doing their breed log to completion are going to trigger different bean buyers though, so that will cause changes in demand a few obvious weeks.

I don't know, and I do wonder how spiders and zygos will compare in gp value later. I can imagine people who set and forget leave the spider dmg boost totems activated, but its so many more beans to do zygomites. Right now a triple trait daemoncap zygo will go for way way more than the best spider, but... in general spider values are much higher than I would have guessed.

*think Groundskeeper Willie. Kerr are scots, so ofc... irl garden, salty temper, addicted to video game farming. it all makes sense now right?

worth noting that chins unchecked are rarely available through GE, especially the lower hunting level ones, but that from child to elder they have roughly the same value in p2p trades. It took me a long time to get hold of grey children through non-gp trading, and then as elders when I was done with the pair they sold 1m ea.

Crystal chin ados seem to be presented to w2 as ado for trade between 500k-1m depending on proximity to reset.

3t chins seem to be most often carnivorous which might mean people do want a steady supply of red chins to equip and throw? Those range 750k to 1.5m.

oh yeah and I need someone
ravensworn
to testify. have any of y'all sold or traded those animals to friends who were able to breed animals with the trait inherited? that ought to be future special order thing.

I believe it was explicitly stated that the trait cannot be passed on this way; you have to own the title to be able to have an offspring with this trait.

I got it on a Zygo, I did try on alt (no ravensworn) for a short time but did not yield any ravensworn offspring.

Ravensworn trait seems substantially rarer than getting Shiny! post buff.

the day traders camped at w2 still seem to be hawking theyll buy magical for 25m, and then they seem to reroll to loyal and resell at 45m or so. Its becoming a rarer trade though. I wish I could report player x sold to player y, but all I can do is summarize the hawking I see, and invite you to doublecheck when you have a chance.

Prices I saw in W2 today:

Adol dragons 3-3.5m
Adol zygos 800k-1m
Adol chins 400-500k

You can get cheap deals for beans if you're patient or you run into someone desperate. Like I managed to buy some adol dragons at 2.5m each, adol zygos at 700k each, and adol chins at 250k each. There's not much demand for other adolescent animals, as most players will now be growing the best animals for each size pen. For other animals, only the 2/3 traits will be in demand from players seeking to complete their breeding logs.

Magical Zygomite Loyal Trevor is an interesting case, as it is removed from the game when you complete the associated achievement. There should always be demand for it from players looking to complete that achievement ASAP, but others may opt to breed their own Zygos and try to get lucky with re-rolls. Even then, there's a max 10% base chance of a shiny (15% if the baby born has a shiny trait) and also a 50% chance of it being a male. So, the odds aren't that great, but is the way to go if you're patient and feel lucky with re-rolls.

Personally, i've bred 3 Magical Zygos so far from a pair of Sparkling/Glistening/Radiant, with 2 of them being male, so the rate isn't great as the female Magical Zygo ended up being bean fodder.
Clue Drops -> 3a Range Top (h357), 3a Full Helm (h439), 3a Druidic Staff (e969), Barrows Dye (h1755, h2546, e680, e1567, e2038, e2160, m480, m783, m862), Shadow Dye (e510, e1970, e1985, h2948), Ice Dye (e1539, e2804), 3a Dye (e3129)
